Hey, thanks for bearing with us!  Ok, the site is back in.

As everyone has noticed, we have been in the process of rebuilding CretaceousFossils.com to make it more dynamic and easier to manage.  The old site contained over 800 pages that needed to be converted to this Content Management System, and therefore it took a great deal of time to get converted over.

The good news is that it is now finished and everything has now been converted to the new system.

Everything has moved and any links you had to the old content will no longer work, but instead redirect back to the new site.  Feel free to use the search box above to find what you are looking for, and if you can't please contact us so we can point you in the right direction.

The current navigation structure is much the same as the old menu structure, so that combined with the search box and you shouldn't have much trouble finding what you're looking for.

With that said, there is still a WHOLE LOT of house cleaning to do, so thanks for bearing with us while we update some of the formatting that didn't carry over during the conversion. It mostly involves small details that make the site look better, such as redoing the single spacing, re-italicizing generic and specific names, re-centering images, etc., so all of the info is there.

The wbmsr would like to extend his thanks to the support Dryline Hosting has given us. The web host said that this is the biggest move he's ever had to do, and he did an outstanding job!  Thanks!

Although it was a major interruption, with some of our contributors and viewers either going into mourning or close to rioting (LOL!), the conversion was a critical step in allow cf.com to grow... no more flat files, only one or two friggin' tables (!!), more flexibility to change the format, one-click global changes,  more continuity in the layout and navigation of the site, and a more user friendly content manager. So thanks for everyone's patience while we got the new site up and running.
